The week started with a bout of inspiration for a new project (because Shiny Object Syndrome is real). But in this case I’m pursuing it, full throttle.
The idea is to use AI image generation to create Ukraine-inspired avatars for people, which will be used as a “thank you” for donating to the cause.
I’ve put together a landing page which I would love some feedback on.
On Feb 24th the war will have been raging for a year now. That’s a very aggressive deadline to launch this project, but feasible enough that I’m going to push for it. No sense giving footholds to Parkinson’s Law.
There will be an in-person fundraiser on Thursday, which seems the perfect opportunity to start promoting the landing page and see if there’s enough interest to justify building the project in full.
In the background I’m working on a video finding the best landing page creators. (Swipe Pages vs Lead Pages vs Unicorn Platform etc.
Also stumbled upon Eightify, which does Youtube bullet summaries as I was working on, so will need to go back to the drawing board on that one.
