Is Scott making an aRPG based on the Teddy Ruxpin franchise? Well no, as awesome as that would be.
I’ve started yet another side-project, mainly so I can stay fresh with gamedev (and this blog) while getting everything ready for the forthcoming Econia Kickstarter.
I’m working on an aRPG, like Diablo or Torchlight. I started looking at some tutorials online, though often they spend hours and hours on frameworks and constructor classes and bla! Taking a tip from the Superbrothers, I’ll be focusing on the combat first. I aim to make it as fun as possible as quickly as possible.
When I needed to put some art to it, I recalled this amazing animation from a while back, so my theme is stealing being inspired by that.
